Early Christmas - Sleigh Bells Loops

I was recording some Christmas track with the brass band I am conducting and while recording some of the percussion I was thinking "why not making some loops out of those?". So here they are, loops at 80 BPM.

I dropped them in FL Studio to put automatically the loop markers. All files stereo wav, 32 bit float, 44.1 KHz. The ones labeled "mono" are out of mono files (recorded with one mic) and the "stereo" are same mono recordings with a Eventide Micro Pitch applied.

Silver Glockenspiel

I proudly present "Silver Glockenspiel", a Kontakt based instrument on which I was collaborating with MA-Simon.
The Glockenspiel has been carefully sampled both with mallets and a violin bow.
It was recorded in an acoustically treated room using two AKG Precision microphones.

Within this library you will find Solo and Section Patches.
The Instrument has been sampled cromatically from C3-C5. But the patch has an extended range to G2-C5 for the Mallets and to G2-E5 for the Bowings.

The volume of the Bowed Instruments is controlled with the modwheel.
There are looped and unlooped patches so you can either play the original recorded bowings ore the more smooth and looped ones for more fluid playing.

On the interface there are some handy controls for quick use of:
Attack and Release for all Mallet Patches and Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain and Release for all the Bowed patches.



The instrument is for sale at sampleism.com for £4.99 (approximately $8 or €6) which is a steal for this library.

After a little bit of silence I'm back again, and not just back, but with some great news.

Christmas (late) SampleTank Freebie

I wanted to make a free glockenspiel patch for Christmas, patch I thought to be for Mu.Lab and Kontakt, but I thought "why not try SampleTank, now that it's free".
Well, took a while to make it, mainly because SampleTank is a very closed and hard to understand, at least the free version. So, because I was late with it, I thought "why not throw in there some more stuff?".
DOWNLOAD

Install:
Unzip into the "Instruments" folder.
The structure should be Program Files/IK Multimedia/ Instruments/Mihai Sorohan Sounds/.
You should be able to acces it from ST menu.

No loop points, no velocity multi layering, but still I think it might be useful. All samples recorded at 32 bit and converted to 16 bit wav stereo.
There are available 8 more child presets by jobromedia originally posted on KVR.
DOWNLOAD
Extract them in the same folder where you extracted the original samples.
In order for the child presets to work, you should previously have the parent original samples.

The Free version of SampleTank Free you can get from IK Multimedia website:

A reworked version of the pack named "Choir Vowel Ensemble Pack" is available on the official Mutools website on the "Download" section. Jo from Mutools converted all 6 patches into a MuSynth patch and also converted all samples to Ogg files to keep filesize low (in the original is 32 bit wav).The quality is still decent but the size is much smaller, so it's more suitable for people with a slower internet connection or with smaller HD drives.Mu.Lab Patch: DOWNLOAD
