Moving all sample packs from Downloading.com

Because downloads go slow, some links are broken and too much waiting time until the download starts, I move all the freebies to Mediafire. Stay tuned for more news.

Here is first moved freebie:

Vowel Ensemble Choir Pack
The choir patch was developed by Mihai Sorohan together with Richard Osborn for Mu.Lab Multisampla and Selcuk Bor (from Symphony of Specters) for Kontakt.

Choir:
Citrina - soprano & alto
Jelena - alto
Roman & Dimitri (Timohi) - tenor
JonnyZed - tenor
Mihai - tenor & baritone

Full Choir "Wet" Patch for Kontakt: DOWNLOAD

  • The Kontakt patch is "monolith" so you don't need to copy folders or keep track where are the files.
  • To run the patch you need a full license of Kontakt. In Kontakt Player (the free version of Kontakt) the patch will run just in demo mode (that means 30 minutes and then stop).

Mu.Lab Patch: DOWNLOAD
Mu.Lab session "Ave Maria Sound Alike" DOWNLOAD

How to install:
  • Get Mu.Lab (free version would do it just fine)
  • Unzip the zip file
  • Move the patch folder into the Mulab/User/Library/Mux folder

By downloading the provided files you accept the following terms:

  1. You may not use it for commercial sample libraries (put it on a CD and sell it, sell it online, etc)
  2. You may use the sample content as an integral part of your musical composition, in combination with other sounds, for both personal and commercial purpose.
  3. I don't accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or upset caused to or suffered by you as a result of misusing this material.
Enjoy the freebie.

  1. License question, about all your freebies, but especially about this one. Can I

    1) Create a download zero-cost mirror, share it with friends by mail or copy it from one computer to another by other mediums?

    2) repackage the lib (without touching the samples itself) in a different sampler format? And offer it again as non-commercial download (original authors will be still credited)

    3) edit the samples themselves and and offer it as non-commercial download like above?

3b) Combine the samples with others (lets say a consonant-vocal lib) to create a new lib and then release as above?

It would be nice to hear that from you. Point 1) is the only one that matters really, but the rest is interesting as well.

  2. Really nice with some free choir samples. Since i am new to Kontakt 5, it might be my skills within the program that is the problem, but i cant seem to get this pack to work fully. I only get the "Aah" sounds to work. Any idea what might be the problem?

Cheers and thanks for the freebie
